Default Leather Covered interior/dash, etc.

Has anybody done it? (obviously seats and cosole cover aside). I'm thinking about Leather/Vinyl covering most of the dash and interior plastic trim pieces - some of them I might paint as well. The combination, if well thought out, might really look great. Just curious if someone might have some photos to give me an idea of the look.

There is guy here who has done it on his FRC along with other cool mods and paint. I think it was through a company in Arizona. I bought a dash pad some time ago to get it covered in suede and red stitching but kind of lost interest in the project. If you are looking for a spare dash pad, PM me.

My dash, doors, and all the trim (everything that was vinyl) was gutted and wrapped in leather with baseball stitching. I did everything through Arizona Auto Werks but they contracted the leather wrapping through someone else.. not sure who.

Stook,

Hey Buddy!

Meant to say something in my thread about my new C seats (you posted, thanks for the props), but your ride is fantastic! Just a perfect blend of aftermarket and style.

JDspewterCoupe, stooze, DT, thanks guys for the compliments, much apprieciated!

DT

I just went nuts, and wanted to get it over, and done. I originally was going to get the same seats as yours, but when I saw the new ones in a widebody John was doing I had to have them. Everything turned out better than expected. Matter of fact the car is there now waiting on the LG PRO's ordered last week.

BTW. I know the former owner of your seats, nice guy...clean freak, worse than me!
You cough near his car, and he turns around, goes down another street!

Enjoy you new look, they 'make' the car!

I'm doing things a little more incrementally in this ride (vs. the previous) - just having fun picking things out, doing the installs myself, etc.

Joe seems like a great guy - John said the same thing about the seats, and yeah, they're pretty much new/mint.

I guess that's Tony getting the WB done? Hahaha, I feel like I know all you guys from the seat connection A buddy of mine is talking to Tony about his previous seats (and some interior pieces), I think they're pretty close to a done deal. Once I got mine in I told him your MUST buy a set

Upgraded seats make a *huge* difference - just yesterday, on a short drive the car just ~feels~ better, more responsive handling (since I'm not rolling all over the seat), and of course, cosmetically, it's a staggering difference.

Take care!
