At $500 you are right at the Callaway Honker price. Excellent fit, quality and instructions, plus makes great power. Relocates the MAF closer to the throttle body, as GM followed suit on the C6. Must be something to that. It is the only intake kit that comes with a sticker proving emissions compliance in all fifty states.

I am having a Callaway Honker installed as we speak. Tony at Tony's Corvette in MD. recommends this set-up over any of the others you have mentioned. Better quality construction better performance and HP gains. (by the way Tony has one of the top ten Corvette shops in the country.) JMHO.

Seriously... I don't specifically have anything against the Blackwing, but the Haltech Stinger has basically the identical air box, but it also comes with a freer flowing and bigger air bridge, not to mention you can get red to match..

I installed mine in a very short time.... Basically the first time I've worked on a car before... and it was easy, very good instructions come with it and its not hard at all...

Here is a shot of the finished product:

And a shot of the two air bridges... this pic is crappy but you get the idea:

I really want the TRAP, but halltech only make the stinger intake. I wonder if there is just the last piece i can buy to make the stinger into a TRAP.

I use the Halltech on my Z06, I like it a lot. I've also used and liked the Blackwing and used Vortex Rammer on 2 other Vette's.
