Here in Illinois you're supposed to affix the I-Pass to the interior of the windshield by rearview mirror. I just lay mine on the dash so I don't have to put up the Velcro strips. I think it's been working. They haven't shown up at my front door with a warrant yet.
i just stick mine in the glove compartment, its a pain when im by myself but im kind of use to it.I hate the way they look on my windsheild.By the way nice wax you have on here, and i love the black.Where in nj are ya?
The one in my truck is behind the mirrow butI don't want to do that, hence this type. I don't like the [base] sticker either on my windshield but it's required to go to work.
i don't run a front plate,so i have mine hidden inside the front plate filler.works like charm.before i get flamed,yes i know i live in jersey,but i refuse to put a plate on.i'd rather pay the ticket.
I have the tag that goes on the inside of the windshield, it's velcro'd onto the windshield behind the rearview mirror. I can't see it from the drivers seat, and it can't be seen from the outside of the car.
First you should know that they provide a special one for HUD coated windshields (C5) although I doubt it makes much difference.
I do not have mine nounts at all. I carry it in the front passenger seat or console until needed and when going through an EZ-Pass toll I just hold it up to the windshield as I am driving through and the EZ-Pass has had no problem picking up my info.
They carry a suction cup holder at Pep boys that costs @ 5 bucks .It works great.three suction cups hold it. Bob
get the tag that goes on the inside of the windshield and put it as high as it will go behind the rearview mirror and you won't even notice it is there.
I like the idea of mounting it behind the front plate filler. Dumb question. What's the easiest way to remove it?
there are a couple screws holding it on,i have mine mounted on the windshield right behind the rearview and you really can't see it from the outside do to the tint in the upper part of the windshield. Dave
