It's the black strip about 6 inchs long and 1 1/2 inchs wide on the tray in front of the windshiels.

I have one of those $5 holders with the suction cups. I place it in the upper left corner of the windshield and it can't be seen from the outside. Works fine.

I have one of the black license plate mount EZ Passes mounted with heavy duty velcro to the top of my radiator shroud. It's been there for about 3 years and works like a champ!

Put it on the airbox. It will work. If the signal can go through glass then it obviously can go through a plasic hood with no problem.
