I wish you all would just sleep on it before posting some rant here. Especially this one....Holy christ.....You have got to be one of the biggest whiners ever.....Youre crying because you were speeding by almost 10mph over but the LEO gave you a break.....and did you ever hear of POP radar...? Your 8500 wont necessarly pick it up.....especially if its an older unit. What your post should have said: "Hey guys wanna hear something cool? I was speeding like an azzhat but this cool cop gave me a break...I guess they're not all azzholes!" But I know Im just wasting my breath on this lot.....I think I'll start picking a day of the week that I'll call "Vette appreciation day" Every vette driver will get pulled over just so I can tell them how beautiful their car is....but no breaks.....whats the point? You cry babies will only bitch about it here

Ahhhh.....I feel much better now....thanks....

Can't wait to see what gains you get with the rocker arms!

BTW, I have my id readily available, but he never asked for any form of identification. There is so much military in this area, I don't think it would have matter anyway.

I was not defending him against his speeding if that is what he did. I have been given breaks myself from speeding. I, as one of "this lot", was merely stating what I and many others know from personal experience: that some police do lie.

I think the situation is a lot like referees in professional sports. The ref makes a mistake. He usually realizes it very quickly, but because he thinks it will make him look weak, he will never admit it and change the call. He will stick to that call until the end.

Is this some sort of taboo subject?

Not rotten at all. You are using the advantages that you have.

Rocket, you missed the part about Corvette drivers only getting pulled over for commiting an infraction because they have been "profiled".

Yeah I am whining! So what, if you guyus don't like reading it, don't. But I do appreciate your honesty and respect that. Love you guys too and the reason I was 10 over was because of a set of head lights flying up my a$$ (coul dhave been a drunk for all I know) and I was tryin gto get in the other lane, but I got popped and that is that.
