Heres the final version.
I drilled holes through the liner into the V Frame. The stud pushes through and the screw tightens the fitting into the frame behind. There are 2 studs at the top and 2 at the bottom.
Be very careful not to press too hard and drill through the trunk lid
Its now fixed on "as tight a a tight thing"
The wife's embroidered emblem is going slowly

Did you use the same kind of pins as holds the hoodliner on? Do you remember the drill bit size? Thanks!

You can pick up a number of sizes. You need a wide head to the stud to hold the liner firm. The drill bit sizes are on the packaging.

Can you tell us the product # or item number on the package of the "push clips" that you used...and did they come from Lowes also?
Thanks

Thanks
Afraid I got rid of the packaging
The clips came from Autozone and they had a choice of 3 of similar sizes.

OK...so now its narrowed down to the Autozone and 3 different possible sizes...now what are they called? Clips? pins with flat tops? screws?...or do we just go to AutoZone and look for what you have pictured and try to figure out which size you used?...Mang you are making it tough
P.S. wonder if Cowboy will now start using your method of securing the trunk lid cover as you have done
