Stick-on. No pegs. Only the front emblem (on the front bumper) has pegs.

I don't think the factory did this. This car either had NO emblems on it, and someone added them later; or it had body work done, and they weren't replaced in the correct spot.

Again, I'm not sure about the BSMs, either.

nobody's asking you. and your car should never cost almost as much as your living quarters. i'd say that is ignorant. but who's asking me? i just answered the original question.

I thought this was a public forum. I must be wrong. I just think it's funny that you think those homes are ****ty and because of that someone couldn't afford a Corvette. It's not like we're talking Ferrari, Lotus or Lamborghini money here. We're talking 20-50 grand.

So I still live with my parents and I'm only 20 years old. Even though I make really good money that means I shouldn't own my 99' Corvette coupe that I bought last year? And that means I shouldn't be looking to buy a 01'-02' ZO6? I suppose I need a really nice house of my own to be able to drive a really nice car? Nah I'll pass on the house for now and drive the really nice car.

Same boat as me my friend. Im 20 and i just bought my second Zo6, i hope to pay off the majority of the car within 1 yr and then start saving for a decent house.

Someone always has something negative to say, and it makes vette owners look like ******.

College? Why would I waste the money on that. I went to a trade school to get the degree for my field which took 1 year. Now I've been working making more money than the average kid my age or the average adult. How does college make someone a better person? All it guarantees you is 100 grand in dept with loans and other crap you'll never use.

itsmeek, dude if that house was in SoCal it'd cost $600,000.

Here's my house... I'm 24 and the house cost me $229,900 when I bought it two years ago.

No it's not huge, but I've taken care of it and it's very nice inside.

And I've made the garage killer...

So beacasue my house is small on the outside, and doesn't look amazing I shouldn't drive a Z06?? I wasn't going to say anything, but when I read that post about "someone who lives in a house like that shouldn't drive a Z06." That's just wrong.

i guess our definitions of nice all differ. i was making a general comment and was also joking around initially. by the way my college degrees got me a job that pays very very well and i have no loans to pay off. most jobs in my area won't even look at you if you have no college degree and good luck buying a house in fairfax w/under 600k. nice garage man!

that house is in florida and the car is parked on a lawn btw.

yes orlando florida where housing costs are similar to NOVA, I grew up in Fairfax Station.

Also, that gras is nice a green, a good spot for a good evening picture, ever think the guy simply pulled it in the gras to take the pic?

I agree that if you don't have college squared away or a good career yousholdn't ge a car like this. If you have to live at home to make the car/insurance payments then you can't afford the car.

Looking at other 2001s the placement should be the exact same as 02's

Maybe the car was painted and the emblem wasn't attached in it's original proper location. Or the emblem had to be put back on the car for some reason and it wasn't attached where it belongs. If the seller isn't giving you the answer then do a carfax. If the car comes up clean and you've seen it in person and everything looks good then buy it. All you have to do is move the emblem where it belongs. That's not a big deal at all.

but if the carfax comes back clean and the emblem is off center it probably was damaged at some point like you said. the problem w/this is that we do not know if the damage was extensive or minor. if the badges on both side are off- to me it would indicate major front end damage w/replacement of the whole front clip.

i dunno- take it to a body shop, it's a relatively big purchase man.

True the car may not even of been reported if it was in any sort of accident or wreck.

1. Im 20 and ive had 3 apartments on my own, so dont even try and go there with the whole "move on your own" crap.

2. A college degree doesnt guarantee you a good paying job.

3.I make quite abit more than most people my age make, and i have no boss.

Thanks for judging a book by its cover, i see your sooo educated.
