Changed mine at 21000 - still had tread but couldn't stand the noise and poor wet traction.

Changed to Michelin Zero Pressure - much improved on both counts!

The older they get, the noisier they get. I just replaced mine with Michelin Pilot Sport ZP's. Man, what a difference!

I cannot find the Zero pressure on the Michelin website. When I put in my model it offers no options. Any idea?

As the tire ages and wears, it will get louder. My back ones wore out at 15K miles.

I have 15,600+ miles on my '01 and had to change my stock Goodyears last week. The rears were close to worn out, they were real noisy, and the fronts had started to slip in turns. I also replaced them with the Michelins AS ZP's and the difference is terrific - much less road noise and the all-round handling is greatly improved. They are just not as wide as the GY's, but, they have a nice lip protection around the wheels.

You think they howl from normal driving, I occassionally autocross my 01 vert and it only has 10K miles on it. Autocrossing will take the corners off of the tires and they now make so much noise they sound like the rear is howling. I am getting ready to take these off and I am going to opt for non run flats. Either BFG KDWs or GY GS D3s.
