I can't believe it. I sold my ninja. I've been wanting a vette for such a long time and just haven't been riding the bike. I dont know what's gotten into me, but the last year or so, I just haven't been all that interested in riding and seem to have come to terms with my own mortality or something.
So I watched my beloved bike be driven off into the sunset tonight by a stranger. I almost cried. I think it would have been easier if I had the vette in the driveway. Anyway, I am leaving first thing tomorrow to get my "new" C5! So, hopefully the shock of the bike being gone will get taken away by the Vette. I had to sell the bike to afford the vette, god I hope it was worth it.....I think it's going to be.
Good luck with the pickup. I sold my Kawasaki Concours (sport touring) when I brought the C5 home. Just wasn't getting any use once I had the Corvette. I believe that once you spend some time driving the Corvette you won't miss the bike. I was sad to see her go but I have not regretted my decision once.
[QUOTE=rayk]Don't forget the GPS, Cellphone and Radar detector on the 1800 either.
I've considered selling my 1800, but can't. Still love to ride.
Just a matter of finding the right vette.
Love my vette but I would not part with the wing to keep it I am lucky enough to have them both ( and paid for )
I ended up in a 'vette because I totaled my FJR1300 last year and ended up in the hospital for a month. I decided I should be riding/driving something that was less likely to tip over.
