Thats collector edition Z16 kind of money.... Granted the miles are rediculously low but i wouldn't pay that.

I'd love to think they are worth that, but I bought an '02 Z (pic below) in January 2006. It had 1780 miles when I drove it home. Payed significantly less than that.

Default 2001 Z06, 80,000 Miles

One owner, good condition. Most miles were highway miles. Never had the oil consumption problem, never dragged, autocrossed only once. What should I ask for it?

Check out kbb.com to get local used car values. No need to pay retail for the car, but if it's an "emotional purchase", the miles are low and you could make a counter offer......

I think the price is too high. If it will ever sell @ that price, it will take a hell of along time!

Most people will find a car in similar condition and mileage as yours for low 30s.

Good luck!

The car will be worth different amounts to different people.

What I personally would pay:

$36,500 and below =
$39,900 =

I don't think there are many '02s left with that low miles, but I agree that $39K is too much.

My 01 with 30k miles was $28k from a Chevy dealer last September. Maybe low-mid 20s depending on condition IMHO.

thanks for all the opinions on the value of this car. I think it is 3-4 thousand to high. He won`t budge on the price so I will look around.

Last summer I paid $39,500 for my 2004 Z06, see avitar. I think $39,900 for a 2002 is a bit steep.

I paid 29,900 for an 01 with 52K miles....is that too much? Car is in perfect shape except a really dumb electrical bug that is so odd, I can't figure it out (see my other thread)....

He's asking way too much, but you can always make him an offer based on the info on this forum and tell him that you are only willing to pay what others are selling for here. He might say no way, or he may get a clue and realize he will have the car for a long time if he doesn't lower the price.

That's way too much if you bought it recently. With miles that high you should be able to find one for 25-26k. I bought my 2001 with thousands in mods a year and a half ago with 14k miles for 30k.
