will you get a check engine code if...
you just do a cat back exhaust? i will be doing mine soon and im wondering if the PC is finicky over more free flowing exhaust

No, a catback exhaust does not change much of the flow. You wil be lucky to pick up 5 Rwhp. The catback is mostly for sound and looks.
