Default Center Console Cushions

They are advertised as made of leather and vinyl, but what part is the leather?

Mine's from Corvette Central. The top side is leather, the sides vinyl.

I do alot of long drives and like the extra cushion for my elbow.

How much does it increase the height?

It's about 3/4 in. higher, but mine is pretty spongy, so it feels about the same as stock height when I lean on it. If it was not spongy, I would not like the new height. I'd rather have an armrest too low than too high!

I wonder how it would be with a short throw shifter like a Hurst?

Mine too. I would think that the sides would be vinyl and the top leather on the other products.

Before I put my Mid America cover in, I was thinking my Hurst was starting to feel a little long and was wondering if I could shorten it some. After I installed the cover, it feels good now.

I have VE interiors in my cars except for the cushion. I bought from MidAmerica whereas VE costs at least 3x the cost. MA cushion is alot thicker and more comfortable. I told Ken King awhile back that his cushion was way to expensive and that's why I wouldn't buy it; he understood.

Yeah, it was a bit more than MA, but Ken King gave me a great deal at Carlisle last year, and I got the custom embroidery. MA wouldn't do that for me. Guess it's all about what you want. I don't have any complaints about the product though.
