Default Turn signal question

My left turn signal is blinking extremely fast (much faster than my right, which is fine).

Any ideas to help?

Thanks

I've heard one reason this is caused, is from a burned out bulb.

You need a new bulb in one of your lights.

That's the problem, either the front or back is out. I've had to replace one my front ones a few months back and now the other one is out !! They're a biotch to change but I'd rather scratch up my hand and arm rather take it somewhere for a bulb swap out !

Does anyone know how to replace the bulb and what the model # for the bulb is?

Thanks

I'll help out

Three choices:

Go in from under the car. Remove the access panel. Its then easy to get at the bulb but takes time to pull and replace the panel.

Move the brake duct out of the way. Small hole but easy to do unless you have Z06 screens.

The way that works for me is:

Turn on the headlights and back off one position to kill the lights.
Unscrew the 3 small screws on the black plastic housing around the headlight. Gently pull the housing clear. Reach down around the headlight unit and release the bulb holder. It unscrews counter clockwise but it has a plastic clip which you need to squeeze to release it. Change the bulb. Reseat the bulb holder and turn until it clicks back in place. Put the plastic housing back in place making sure to locate the small plastic tab in the bracket on the headlamp cover. Replace the 3 screws and close the lights.
10 minute job.
