Default Need help

Hey guys and gals,

I have a man coming to possibly buy my 00 Vette . My car is 4 sale and he wants to take it to a dealer to check it out.The car is in great shape and this does not worry me. However I do know the back right tire sensor is not working. Will this
hurt me in the deal? I have drove it with the sensor out for nearly 40,000 miles because it was that way when I bought it. I know all(not really) about the computer and history and how to reset it. Not trying to pull one over on somebody. I know the car is in great shape but I just can't spend whatever it will cost to know the tire pressure. The guy at GM read the codes years agoand told me the price(which is crazy). Any help on smoothing this out to make the sale. Also the air conditioner display is so dim u cant see it. I read about soldering the connection points on the back it but I don't want to tear up anything doing it because im selling. all help appreciated c5s rule

Best bet is to be straight up with him and tell him the sensor isn't working and hasn't for a long time. If you don't mention it it will look like you're trying to hide something.

Tell him the issue and tell him him why you did not get it fixed.
By the way I would check the price at Fred Beans.... I know that 4 -new tire pressure sensors for my '01 are $140.46 delivered.
I have heard that 4 for '00 and earlier are $500 del'd.

He's going to want to reduce the price in any case. Use these as bargaining chips. Not major issues anyway if he likes the car.
