Lloyds cargo mat

Quick question to those of you with a Lloyd cargo mat: Did it cut down on any road/cabin noise from the rear tires?

Not much noise reduction if any. As for the storage bins, just roll the mat back.

No real noise reduction. Bin access isn't a problem, I just flip the mat forward and it is out of the way.

Decibel measurements

My Radio Shack Digital Decibel meter registered 68 A weighted Decibels without Mat and 65 Decibels A weighted with Mat. No, I'm justing kidding, I didn't measure any sound levels. The mat is good quality and a thick material, so I'm sure there is some muffle involve. My 99 vert mat fits perfect over entire rear trunk. Oh, I do have a Digital Decibel Meter.

Wow, you had me for a minute! How well does the material match the original carpet. Mine is light oak.

I am disapointed in the color match, I have a 99 with gray interior and gray Loyds is not as dark of a gray. Beautiful mats with both Flags logo and corvette. Spend extra and get the plastic mat protectors, they fit perfect and are thick as well.

my cargo mat, where the cargo cover does not cover, faded after 4 years ..very noticable

Hard to tell if it's quieter, it doesn't go over the wheel wells where you probably get most of the noise..tires make the most difference in road noise IMO, but does add a lot of insulation.

I have the 2k Vert light oak....the mat i got is a good match..very pleased with it. The texture may make it look a little different because it very thick mat, very nice logo and name, real plush compared to normal carpeting IMO.

Be sure and get the Double Logo...C5 emblem + Corvette for a couple bucks more...I think it was Vettes of Huston online...ebay... had the best deal when i got mine...Check Ebay vette mats..

Oh, it is the Lloyds mat....they have the floor mats too....If you order let them know if its a vert or coupe...they are different cargo mats...
