Thanks Neil I'm hoping the 25 bulb LEDs are bright enough. If not i'll have you install seperate LED's to fill the entire housing.

I think they look good on your color car. Certainly not something you see every day.

I dont know I am up in the air with those. I kind of like your old tails better. I will have to see them in person to really make my decision!

I believe they are illegal in almost every state...they are illegal here in Pennsylvania, you need to have atleast one reflector type lens on each side of the rear... I think they look enemic, the quick silver is a neutral color, and these just make it more neutral..
I applaud your tenacity to put these on your car.. You asked for a critique...Your car always looked good to me, I think this is unique but I think it is a step backward... the best thing I can say is it's honest...no sugar coating here.. and since your initial post didn't say anything about opinions I didn't give any, but since you said "you put it out there to be critiqued", You also know if I really liked them, It would not be sugar coating it would be honest..

Guy's for those of you that want to say it looks like feel free. As I said this is not for everyone, I just thought it is a bit different than the standard euro lights. Something that sets the car apart from the others. Evil-Twin, these lenses are reflective Once the correct color RED LED's are installed they will light up red. The local police here (I have a bunch that live on my block) say they need to light up red, I see no problem at the moment but time will tell. Chris, (MANGOOK) my own son who drives an EVO....

I think you missed my point, the color has to be red or amber, it cant be blue or purple, that is when it is lit. What I am referring to is when the car is parked at night on the side of the road,( no lights on ) there has to be a passive red reflector on either side of the car that can be illuminated by the headlights of an approaching car, and these reflectors have to be visible for 200 feet.... the stock red lenses have passive red reflectors as do the euro lights built right into the lenses.

That might be why they were pulled from the market. Oh well, it only goes out to race or a cruise every 3 months. That said, I will be sure to report if I have an issue. Thanks for the clarification. I guess that's why all the new clear lens lights have a secondary red lens behind them.

By the way surgery is next Friday, that means you'll have a whole month that I can't drive the car.

I like em! I toyed around with the idea of putting those on my Z. I've got clear corner lights already, and Diamond Cut Back Up Lights. I went with the Red LED Taillights cause they look cool, and put out some serious light. If they made LED's with clear lenses like yours i'd get those in a heartbeat! Nice Mod!!!!!!!
