Bought the Sears aluminum constructed floor jack (part #50239), yesterday, on sale for $149.99. Regular price is $199.99. Also included a Sears $25 gift card mail-in rebate. Sale ends today, May 13th. Thought I'd post this info---seems like a pretty good deal to me......

Does it fit underneath the car without driving up on ramps first? Do the grey rhino ramps work without hitting the air dam or undercarriage of the car and where can you get them? Thanks for the info. James

Is this their aluminum Racing Jack? If it is I've had my eye on one for a while now and $149 seems like a decent price to me.

The jack fits under the car with plent of clearance for SIDE-jacking, but will NOT fit completely under my C5 without getting it off the ground a bit with ramps or wood or what have you.
That's a great deal for a very nice jack - no problems at all with mine.

Thanks for the headsup Bob.....I guess I have to head to the mall for a couple of things today.
Hi Barry, how you doing?? Like a few have already noted, you can give the floor jack to your wife for Mothers Day---that's what I'm going to do. Oh yes, and be sure to tell her how you saved money by getting it on sale. Good luck...

I thought all "Craftsman" brand tools were guaranteed for life by Sears? Did they throw that out the window when K-Mart took over control? Or does that only a apply to hand tools? Wait a minute. A floor jack IS a hand tool!! I'm holding out for one of those The DK20HLQ jacks from A.C. Hydraulics.
But I think I'm going to wait until Father's Day so I'll stand a better chance of actually getting away with spending that kind of dough on a floor jack!!
I bought a floor jack and two jack stands (as a kit; made by Torin) at PepBoys. I was thinking it was $129...couple of months back.
I cut a 1x6x25 (out of oak!; normally should be 2x6x25)
I ought mine for full price in Sept 2005 - and it's leaking now
I bought mine about two years again and used it 4-5 times. Its lost pressure and would not jack the rear of the vette more that 6 inches when I went to use it last year

Smart move!
After going through 3 Craftsman jacks , I finally got an AC Hydraulics...well worth it.
I also placed an order for the AC Hyraulics jack stands 2 months ago, still on back order...I'll keep waiting.

The lifetime has always been on regular handtools like sockets, ratchets, wrenches, ect... basically anything that doesnt have a lot of moving parts. They never changed their warranty policy when they were taken over.
FWIW, My aluminum race jack is also leaking.... have had it since Nov '05.
Got mine about 2 years ago on sale for $99. when they first came out with the light weight racing style jack. No leaks or problems !
I do have aci front spoiler and side skirts which necessitated removing the center 1/2'circular disc . you know, the one about 5" in diameter that rotates on the center pivot, but now it slides right under my homemade jacking pucks.
