tail light lens question

First, I won't have access to any tools to find the answer to this question for a couple more days.

Second, The otside face of the lens is smooth. Is the inside of it smooth, too, or is it bumpy?

The reason I ask is a friend of mine has a laser engraver and has offered to etch a design into my covers free of charge (the Hash House Harriers On-On foot). I prefer to etch the inside for aesthetic reasons and think it will only turn out right if I have a smooth surface etched.

The have a bumpy finish inside. I just swapped mine to clear.

I would say u would have to etch outside. where did u get those clear ones at! Nice

Thanks for the compliments guy's. They are legal here in Florida. They are not in production anymore as they are not legal in many states. I have a thread about the install here. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1390462
