I have a buddy that had some HIDS on his SS camaro and one of his lights started to flicker. So he sent it in under warranty to be fixed. In the meantime he purchased another set because he would get it quicker and figured that when the ones he sent out came back, he could drop them in his new Pontiac Solstice.
Well they dont fit the Solstice so he came by yesterday and said " Here, Happy B-day"
The problem is he is not sure where he put the relays ..... am I going to have any problem using them without the relays?? I dont want to fry anything in my car....or will it just burn out bulbs quicker?
Also there are obviously no mounting instructions ....so where do I put the ballasts and all that jazz. Im sure there are some instructions out there somewhere for all the basic HID kits as they are pretty much the same, ballasts, bulbs, harnesses???
Im not try to reverse engineer anything......C5's and Camaro's , Trans-ams, etc all use 9005 and 9006 kits....This kit is the same kit that his father put in his C5....Im just trying to get help with a basic install??

ok call up LAPD they used to install a kit like that.
I can sell you a pair relay harness with all connectors if needed.
The system is more stable with relays in place.
It is a pretty straight forward install.
Ill be glad to help you as much as I can from here.

Cool....People say your a great guy but damm thats service even when its in your own backyard and not your product...Maybe I will step up when I get a chance.....
How much for relays?
I can take a picture of what I have also if that helps?
Take it from me, NOT-MEE is a great vendor, he helped me out even though I did not purchase a kit from him (mistake on my part). Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $$ for one of his kits, it will be well worth it.

Pic's would help for configuring the harness correctly.
I need to see pic of the input connector on ballast (one without wires).
Standard harness both sides with plug-n-play connectors would be 100.00 and ill even include the hi/low beam on at same time option.
