halltech stinger
thinking about replacing my k & N setup with the stinger.....any opinions on the halltech intake???

i had it and loved it....i replaced it with a bit more "free flowing" intake made by ATI procharger

Haven't heard any bad comments about the Stinger. I have a Blackwing on mine, but wouldn't hesitate to put a Halltech on the car.

I love mine, but a lot of people have to get their cars tuned after they install the stinger, because they get lean codes...I did.

C5s without MAF screens (most Z06s) will definitely require tuning. All others will benefit, but it is not necessary. For HP loss prevention during and immediately after stop-and-go and slower driving, add cold air:

I've had it on my O4 for about 18 months now and it's been great. No codes thrown to date.

Haltech
Have had the Haltech on for a year. No problems, no codes. Also when you get the Haltech it comes with a smooth coupler(usually $40-50 extra) and a larger air bridge.
