I updated my signature and noticed there was a trend. With very minor exceptions (lowering, for example), all of my mods were performance based or at the very least, meant to improve functionality and not bling. How many of you have noticed this trend on your own cars?
This is what I did today: See if you can spot the trend?
Installed Southern Car parts tail light seals.
Changed my oil and filter, Royal purple.
Installed new MSD spark plug wires.
Finished up my nitrous install, carpeted the plywood base and installed the blowdown tube:
Polished up the old B & B Bullets:
Installed new o ring and seal on seal plate and bolted up tranny to diff, flushed trans cooler lines with trans flush and blew out lines with air. (still waiting for my new torque converter).
It has always been about performance for me. Plus just a little bling thrown in. Like Twin Turbos for performance. Chrome hoops, LS1 Turbocharged badges, chrome lamp bezels, and chrome lettering on the rear for bling.
I started with a little of both and then turned toward Performance mods and now that this is 90% done I started on the bling again and this will continue to as I decide on what I want to look different next
