borla stinger impressions
so i've had my borlas on for about 2 days now. I love them. They are in no way "too loud" considering i dont have headers or a cam. I can easily talk on the phone or talk with a passenger without annoyance. My partition doesn't get here until next week. They sound great with barely any drone. Right at 1700 theres a split second of drone, but 1900 or 1500 theres nothing. I love the sound. At 4k and above it just screams even more at wot. I've scared a couple people with their windows down. Just got a video camera so hopefully I can post some clips in the next few days. Overall, if you want something louder than stock that makes it sound like a corvette should...go with stingers

I was going to go with the Stingers but ended up going a little louder with B&B Bullets! I love them! They are louder than the Bullets for sure... But not so loud that you cannot hold a conversation. With headers and or a cam it could make it difficult for a conversation. Congrats on the Stingers! I know how happy I was when I put my exhaust on. Did you install it yourself or have it done "professionally"? I did it myself and it felt even better than having someone else do it for me. PICS!?

ditto on the stingers, had them for about 3 weeks, now i'm ready to move up to headers and some other mods, its an addiction, but unlike other "meetings" this one (CF) promotes and welcomes it.

Those are the Dynatech Supermaxx system... ~$1500 and fairly easy install... Comes with the Procats and x-pipe...

Just switched from Magnaflows to Stingers a few weeks ago, what a nice difference. I have G5x3 cam, longtubes, hi flow cats, xpipe. Scared the h-ll out of my wife at wide open throttle.
Thought about bullets but my tuner warned they would be too loud and I would get annoyed with it after a while. Somehow I'm not so sure about that, who knows I may change again????
