Default HEAT sHIELD?

Earlier this week I had my brake pads changed out to ceramic and had my rotators resurfaced on my 99 Vert. After picking my baby up i heard this slight rattle sound similar to a heat shield/exhaust rubbing. I took my baby back to the shop and was told that the drivers sider rear tie rod end needed replaced as wheel was moving a little wobbly, i will have tie rod replaced but, i have a feeling that this is not the reason for the noise i am hearing.. so it happens when i initially give it some gas or go over a couple of little bumps in the road..... hmmmn?
Do these cars have heat shields over the exhuast or something similar that may have been knocked loose and needs to be tightened up?

Thanks in advance for any help eveeryone!

Yes they do. Several of us are having this problem and NO one can seem to find the cause right now.
