HP 333 Torq 336 1999 FRC K&N No mufflers Stock Not to bad I guess??? ABS light Active handling lights both came on and it quit pulling at 5000 128MPH RPM Why? Is this normal? But no where near my friends 556 HP 648 Torq Viper So now what can I do for more power and more speed in the 1/4 mile on a small budget? NO tune nothing done at all ......STOCK.....Dynotec portable chassis dyno I think my car was one of the lowest powered there. NO Z06 was there what are you guys pulling???

ABS light can come on on no belt linked AWD dynos but will go away under normal driving.
I dynoed Automag's Beautiful Z and the stock power was awesome, highest stock C5 to date, most 02-04's we see about 360-363 on the high side. At the end of the day though, if you use 1 dyno consistantly, the delta's shoud remain the same dyno to dyno, ie. testing each phase on several dynos etc...

That is pretty high both HP and TRQ on a bone stock '99 that is rated at 345 at the flywheel. Nothing done other than filter and remove muffs???
And yep, on the cars that I watched being dynoed, the ABS light came on, mine included. Would it make any difference if ABS was disabled for a dyno run??
Hmmm, but then won't the computer think that there is a traction issue and brake the rear wheels/close the throttle?
Doh! Good point. I'm thinking in terms of the F-body cars which aren't quite as smart as big brother Corvette. However, that issue would be very simply bypassed in the Vette by turning off the active handling. Bye bye TCS. You probably have to for any dyno pulls on the vette's come to think of it.
Everything was off......It still said it was on? Car must have its own overide ??? but the lights all came on at around 3000 rpm Abs and active handling said was on on the DIC and the lights ??? ABS active Service Active Handling ??? then car shut off at 5000 rpm like hitting rev limiter.
