Passed a supporting vendor going opposite direction yesterday afternoon in a Corvette -- gave him a wave (I'm in a convertible in town at 25 mph -- hard to miss) -- all I got in return was a blank stare.
You would think someone earning his living off Corvettes would have the courtesy (or spirit) to wave back.
I noticed last Saturday when I was driving to Bloomington Gold that I missed a few waves because I was either intent on driving/trying to find the parking area or talking. If I ignored anyone it sure wasn't on purpose!

Oh well, I'll keep waving, both "up" and "down."
Well, if you have his business card, you just might want to "Chuck" it out your window.
Feeling insecure ?? Awwww thats too bad.. Every thousand time i read this same complaint i know what no one has the ***** to say.. So I will say it. It,s not the Vette , it,s the person who feels that this car elevates him to some some God like prestigious status in motorized society and he was either missed, or ignored, and now they are insulted or outraged. How child like ...
And what should we do with people who maybe have more critical things at hand like, possibly paying attention to operating their vehicle safely,or making a shift? Failure to not bow down when you pass by is not a capitol crime ,felony or even a misdemeanor.
Heres a wake up call. You are not that important. (GROW UP !)
ATTENTION ALL MATURE GROWN cORVETTE OWNERS
Lets bury this poor bastard for once and for all.
Of all the self centered childish BS, this takes the trophy. The world doesn't revolve around you in your vette trying to be noticed.Trying to torpedo a guy's business because he didn't wave to you is beyond petty. Maybe his dog died or heaven forbid, he was just watching the road. Maybe he was thinking about getting his orders out or maybe he just got off the phone with an irate customer,wife,child... whatever. Everybody's mind goes to screensaver sometime. Maybe it's time to drop all this waving BS and get a life. JMHO Chuck.
You guys are really something else. The "wave" is one of the things that makes owning a Corvette special. I have no problem with someone bringing the issue to the forefront every now and again. It serves to remind and educate fellow enthusiasts. But let's all jump on the bandwagon and insult the original poster for having the gall to say something about it. Jeesh.
