I'm a McDonalds eating, unmarried, homosexual, dishonorable, lying, man-of-my-own-world, techno, selfish, Corvette driver. I'll wave when I want to.
I'm takin bets this stinkin' thread makes it 3 pages before it's locked.
ttt
Oops, make that 4 pages.
Hey, it's ok man. It must be hard to bear all that bitterness around all day everyday. Why don't you go start a "I'm-miserable-and-I'm-gonna-take-you-with-me" thread?

Complaining about being tired of hearing about Corvette waves is rather like doing your part to kill the wave. If people don't want to hear about it, they shouldn't open the darn thread. If people don't want to wave, don't wave. But quit slamming the people who want to talk about it. Just move on to something you are interested in.

If you did a poll on this forum on what percentage of us wave i would think it would definitely be 95% plus. Now if we did a poll on limiting the same wave thread over and over again i think most of us would agree that it is getting a little carried away. For instance we have two threads running at the same time about the wave. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1427532 Plus if you first look at this thread you think it has nothing to do with the wave until you open it.

I completely agree. However, I am a new member who has been lurking on this forum for a year and a half (my old name was HARD DRIVER, didn't post much, I had a TT 3000GT VR4, 400hp), so I am not as tired of the subject as other members, us newer members haven't got waved out yet, so let us have our fun.
If you don't like wave threads, don't open em up and complain about them, it is as childish as the threads were people are mad because someone didn't wave. Some of us think the wave is a noble, genteel pursuit that has a little bit of the good ole days magic in it. Please don't spoil it for the rest of us.

YOu'd think they'd catch on, wouldn't you? I waved to an Austin Healy 3000 yesterday. He liked it.

Maybe we could start a section just dovoted to the wave. That way you could all go there to talk about the wave Let's see we could call it No Wave forum
Bottom Line- Keep waving, keep saying thank you and please, hold open the door for women, respect your elders, and try to teach the kids of this country work ethics and honesty.
Haha Pure Fun, it's not about the wave (how many times and ways can you talk about the wave, it's the circumstances surrounding the wave, the diss, or the bliss, of another acknowledging a shared fun), but about the negativity that is just unneccesary in another's thread.
I am also tired of preaching. I am not the Captain of the Wave Club. I just want the good Vette good will to continue and be extended to us newer members who aren't really tired of the wave (I have seen a million threads in the year and change I have been here, but so what, its important to that person and I would think we are just making members uncomfortable with actually posting) and don't mind seeing people be happy, however small or insignificant that happiness be.
Nuff on this, I just finished washing and armor-alling the inside of my black 02. I am gettin my windows tinted this weekend, by my brother in law, and he's goooooddd.

Hopefully you will post some pics of your vette. And again here's a wave to you from Nevada.... Oh i waved at three vettes today. Two C6's and one C5 and not one returned wave Didn't bother me in the least though. Maybe i will start a new thread about it this one is getting old Will have to admit it is something special when another vette owner acknowledges the tradition.
Took it ot for a little while today, saw 1 C6, 4 C5, 1 C4,
Got one wave its was from a C5 behind me waving to let me back up so a truck could make a sharp trun.
