Default Absolutely New Question

I have a new question. It's obviously not about exhaust systems. mufflers, polish, radar detectors, tires, column lock bypass, etc. I just got a low mileage '02 and she's georgeous BUT the mandatory labels on the sunvisors really bug me. I'm afraid to just try to peal them off. Anybody have a successful non-damaging way to remove them?????????

Lots of people on the forum have removed them. Very easy actually. Just heat with a hair dryer and pull off slowly. Mine didn't even leave any of the glue residue behind. Looks like they were never there.
Good luck.

I didn't even need the hairdryer. Just pulled them off gently. May need something like goo gone to get rid of the adhesive.

the glue was changed in 03 to make it harder to pull em off. heat with a hair dryer and slowly pull.. and you thought you had something new..

What? Take off the labels and BREAK THE LAW?

I bet you are the kind that go above the speed limits on empty freeways too, aren't you? I'll bet you even drive a car that has no front plate as well!

I'm gonna tell!

My question is are there actually visor label police or do the mattress tag police enforce the visor laws too?

I have a 2002 and when new they came right off without heat or anything, just a gentle pulling along.

I'll never forget those tags on furniture I used to see when I was a kid that read: "DO NOT REMOVE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW"

Never did understand that.

Thanks for posting this Lew. I've tried picking at the corners of mine but they won't budge. Now I just have to fnd a hairdryer.

Been running with the visors folded up forward against the window. Looks ok that way but makes it rough to see the stoplights.
