2000 Corvette
Need some advice, I'm looking at a 2000 Corvette with 101,000 miles. Vette is an Automatic and it does have the heads up display. The wheels are chrome but are very rough chrome is peeling. Tires are also bad. Vette is a gold color with black interior..has one small rip on the drivers seat. Paint is in good shape with a scratch here and there nothing major. Vette also has some type of ground effects kit..side skirts and a large wing on the back..it looks like the kit was done by a professional because on the paint matches. The asking price on the car is $15.9 I did do a car fax and it said the vehicle was involved in 2 accidents with air bag deployment. Do you guys think the car is worth 15.9? or should I pass and look for something better? Thanks

Run away. Is the car pewter? Thats the closest to "gold" looking.
That many miles and 2 accidents, run. Chrome rims are really high polished, if they are OEM.

Thanks guys. I looked at another today it's a 2000 Vette Black 6 speed with 81,000 miles. Car fax came up clean no accidents no problems. Vette has a couple scratches here and there but nothing major. Drives and shifts nice. Asking price is $22,900.00. Im probably going to trade in my 1997 Camaro SS (6 speed). Its funny the SS feels faster but if you look at the MPH the Vette seems to get up much faster. Anyway, anything I should look for on this Vette? They gave me the Vette overnight so I will really go over it in the morning.
