Default Craziest thing in your trunk?

What's the biggest/craziest thing you guys and girls have ever transported in the trunk of your Z? I've lugged home a 16' ladder and a 14" weedwacker from the hardware store. You should've seen the stares in the parking lot and driving home, lol. I also managed to squeeze $300 bucks of groceries in the trunk. Any interesting stories from you guys? I need to kill some time til my wife gets home and I can light off some fireworks.

I am against carrying anything so big that it can't fit inside the trunk or would scratch up the car's exterior/interior. Why would I do that to my pride and joy....I'll take another bigger car for that. Pretty tacky to me to carry something so big that it's sticking out, especially on a performance minded car like the Z. So sorry, no interesting stories here from me. I could carry a lot more bigger stuff in my old 98 coupe...like full length headers and exhaust parts, but stopped doing that after accidentally scratching the paint a few times.

Just groceries here, but I am considering a trailer hitch so that I can bring both of my toys to my favorite driving/riding spots.

See I'm 21 and making payments on my Z. I'm also an e-3 in the AF so not much for income (but I do have my house and I'm married so the car completes all my wants and needs). My other car is a 1990 vette. Even less room in there for a ladder. I just tied it down with towels underneath and got home without one single scratch in the paint. I was very meticulous about how I tied down the ladder and gaurded my paint. Just a little caution and the Z can be very versatile a car.

First and foremost, thanks for serving our country . My younger bro had 10 yrs in, last stationed at Dyess. I haven't done it yet, but I want to put 3 car seats and 3 of my kids in there to freak out the neighbors. I have however, done service calls(electrical) with my vette, just hand tools

Hmm my 01 z is my daily driver so day to day I have a couple boxes of Callaway *****, my set of clubs, my car cover, and 2 pair of golf shoes in my trunk, plus a custom made 12" enclosure and sub in the center compartment. I usually put $100 to $175 in groceries in her pretty regularly (gotta take the sticks out first). The other night the 35 pack of waters were on sale so I managed to fit 5 of those in the trunk/passenger seat.

I also managed to get to the tire/alignment shop with 2 295/35/18's and 2 265/40/17's that were brand new .. had to pull the partition out and do some creative packing for that one

Fej

Not the craziest but just limits carrying anything else for the most part.

2 full 65 lb duffel bags(in the trunk), 1 full pilots kit bag(behind the seats) and a rucksack in the Pas. seat! All of that was WITH a partition!

I have carried a bunch of stuff and the only scratch I have ever had was on the Tigershark rear wing...from a grocery bag!!

I dont know if it was crazy but it almost drove me crazy..I had a partially filled bottle of motor oil..that was in the little side compartment wrapped in rag..well I forgot it was back there and it started to drip out...went through the carpet..and onto the muffler..and led me to think I had some kind of rear end leak..

I looked under that car..everywhere trying to figure out where the oil was coming from....thought I might have a serious problem...then I opened the trunk and discovered the forgotten bottle of MO...

An entire BMW M5 front bumper conversion. The guy I sold it to could not figure out how I fit it in the Z06 as he was trying to find space for it in his van lol.

I've stuffed 9 computers into the trunk of my vette back when I first got it - was amazed I could fit that much in there considering they were all boxed!

Had to pick them up for work.

It wouldn't fit in the trunk of my Thunderbird but the Z had room to spare!
