Suicidal Deer Vs Corvette
About 5:15 AM on a dark as ink country road doing roughly 65 MPH and minding my own business, a female whitetail decided it was time to end her dismal life and go where ever deer go when the end comes. The result was not pretty.
Thanks to the skilled work of my local Chevy house and some $5200 later she's back together good as new hidden away in the garage while the paint cures.
Ouch! Sorry to hear, my cousin got T Boned by a deer in his 90 300ZX. Needless to say, the insurance company totaled his car. Glad to hear yours got fixed.
I'm from Pennsylvania (the northwest part of the state where dear are a dime a dozen). I was coming home from the race track one night with my uncle around midnight. Going about 60MPH we see a dear on the side of the road. Then, here she came out in the road and ran into the side of my uncle's car! The deer hit us!! There was snot and blood all over his door and a big dent, but we weren't lucky enough to kill the thing for some good BBQ venison.
Sorry to hear about your luck and we hope to see some pics of the fixed product. By the way, posting the pic of the dead doe on the side of the road is classic!

Repair work is finished and they did a great job. The amazing thing to me is how good the paint looks. I had been told that Anniversary Red was really tough to match but if I didn't tell you where the repair was I doubt you could tell.
One of the most amazing things I have seen was my friends F350 after he hit a deer going 75 on the highway. Square hit in the front corner with effectively ZERO damage. The bumper was pressed in not more than an inch. There was fur and blood covering the front tow hook. Made me want to buy an F350, lol.
