Default replacing stock seat belt

I need to replace the passenger side seat belt because it has some paint on it (don't ask)...

Is this a difficult job?
Any idea what a new belt costs?

Thanks for the help.

maybe 20 mins? you'll need a T47, the plastic has retaining clips

try Gene at Karshop for a new belt

Make sure you get the right belt. Some 2000 and prior cars have different belts than the mid 2000 and newer, due to the airbag off switch.

I replaced the same belt because the uptake spool ratchet failed. Pretty easy job to replace...3 bolts and a torque wrench. Be sure to shop around for prices. Some dealers would only sell the complete set. I bought it for $85 which was substantially less than most dealers quoted.
