Default Thinking About Stripes-HELP!

Thinking about putting stripes on my 2003 red vert. Car has an oak top and oak interior. Can't decide on what color stripe will blend with the interior and the top. No stripes is also an option. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a red/blk vert. Funny u should mention this because I just brought this up to my wife and a buddy who has a Z16. Both of them said there is no way they would put the stripes on the TR vert.

Black stripes would go with the car even with an oak top and interior. Not sure how tan/oak colored stripes would look. Gold stripes might look OK if they were the right shade. When I had my '99 TR coupe with oak interior, I had some gold pinstripping done on the car and it came out looking pretty good.

Default stripes

If the car looked good with stripes, GM would have put them on, zebra's have stripes, they came that way...Look at your car I think it looks great the way it is, the more crap you put on your car, the harder it is to sell when it comes to that time. its a corvette not a circus wagon,

I have a 2001 Red vert with same Z06 Chrome wheels, only difference is my interior is black, I went with the black stripes and I like it. If I had your color interior I'd also say, leave it alone, it looks great the way it is.

TR with stripes looks killer
If you want your TR C5's look like many thousand TR C5's out there, then don't put the stripes; otherwise, stripes are the best mod you can do to your car appearance. We are talking about great designed stripes here

How do these "stripes' hold up... I would image most are applied as decals etc...rather then painted on...

Personally my C5 "looks" like 99.95 percent of all the other C5's..except the 98 pace car that is (which is not bad)...

I would however like to set it apart and Stripes would do the trick....

Bob, I have these stripes advertised above from Mike installed on my car. They have been on since winter. With proper installation, they look almost painted on. They hold up fantastic being that Mike uses quality vinyl. It is the best money I have spent on my car besides my Z06 chrome wheels. Why, because I like you want to be different. I have spent almost 3 years trying to do just that with a low key theme in mind. I show all the time and the car is a winner at every show. Remember, they are not permant and can be taken off with no damage to the car. So why not. I would not want to give up the look I have now for anything.

I love mine..... don't want to follow the crowd! Do what you want. Vinyl comes off easy when you want it to. Mike will take care of you, he's a class act!

Tough call SLIK

With that color combo it is difficult for a stripe color to blend. You're either going to have to go bold or leave it the way it is.

It's not too terribly ugly as it sits you know?

btw I would not go gold
