Default new pads!

I need a recommendation for good street pads, I am currently using the ceramics from pepboys and they faded bad today and I dont trust them. if they are low dust thats a plus but I really dont care as long as they dont fade so bad!

Thanx

Sorry I don't have an answer, but I'm going to jump in here. I have EBC Red Stuff pads & they squeak unmercifully, they have to be replaced.

What were you doing when you faded your brakes.

I'm running Hawk HPS pads on my car. They seem to work well in everyday driving.

Buy them from this site:
http://performancepeddler.com/
Type in "ebay2u" to login and get them at wholesale price which includes shipping. I don't think you'll beat their price.

I just checked and $125 shipped for front and rear HPS.

Remember that the pads might not be the problem. Have you flushed your brake fluid? That should be the first line of denfense and then look at the pads. The street pads are pretty good for everyday drivers, even spirited ones.
good luck.

I have Raybestos Quiet Stops, they're ceramic and low dust and I haven't noticed any fade.

I have HPS Plus on my car for 4500 miles and like the alot better than the stockers, though I did change to drilled and slotted rotors at the same time
