Trunk release button stopped working
Two days ago, my trunk release button on my '00 coupe was working fine. Yesterday, I went to push it to remove my roof, and my trunk didn't open. This never happened before. My C5 has a few of the usual bugs (faulty fuel gauge, locks don't open upon removal of key), but I've never heard before if this is one.
Any ideas?

Could be a fuse...
You might also check the connection on the back of the switch to see if it is making good contact and that the connections are clean and tight. Here are some pics from the Vette Essentials web site produced by the late Ken King that might be of some value....
