Dumb Jack Stand Question
Where is the best place to position jack stands on a C-5? I don't want to mess anything up!

I put mine just inside the A-arm attachments to the frame.

^ That's out of the service manual... I put it on each side of the front/rear sub-frames just inside of the A-arm... probably where Tom puts his.

Same place as Tom puts his, never had issue. It's been up on them for the last 3 weeks because I'm lazy and it's 105 freakin' degrees in my garage every day

Be careful when jacking up the rear!!!
Parking brake and in-gear (manual) only works on the rear wheels. When you lift the rear using the typical hydrauic jack, the action of the jack may pull the car to the rear. There was a post a few months back about a car on ramps in the front where the person had it roll as he was jacking up the back. Please remember to chock your wheels...

Wow! Color-matched jackstands. Here in Ga we use those cone-creet blocks. I suppose I could paint them.
