I also like the "look" of the quad tips...although the duals look meaner. The previous owner put the chrome insert that goes between the tips...I should have plenty of room with the quads and it still show, right?

absolutely. i have an exhaust plate as well. duals do look different, but quad exhausts match the Personality of the car IMO (whatever that means)
got the two pipe stingers.....very happy. Also x pipe which controls the sound differently.. I also had some drone from stingers in 2000PM range...so I added that duct matting materials with the foil cover behind both seats, and under the carpets in the back.
It cut the drone,,and very comfortable on long drive.
Plus, when I nail the pedal, it sounds like a Corvette.
I just installed Borla Stingers Quad tips, the rest of the exhaust is stock (no headers or H pipe), here a sound clip of before and after.
First up is the stock exhaust then the Borla Stingers

Thanks Ed. I'm still learning with the video camera. I made a mount for the car so I can take video's while on a run, gonna try it out this Sunday on the Temecula Valley Lunch run. I'll post the results.
I had the Stingers for about 3 weeks and took them off and returned them because of horrible drone at 1500-1700 RPM in a 6 speed which is about 65-75mph. That's just where I cruise on the interstate. They did sound great around town and since I no longer drive the interstate much would probably prefer them over the quieter MagnaFlows. Be advised if you have a 6 speed and drive the interstate much you probably won't like them.
If you come to Carlisle this weekend and buy them from one of the vendors there, Borla will install them free onsite. There was a post about that a few days ago on here.
