Default BIG Garages

Every time we have a thread here about garages, I see one, two and the occasional three car garage. All of them are nice and the owners should be proud of them, but doesn't anyone own a BIG garage? Doesn't anyone have a barn in the back that holds four of five cars?

I'm planning on building such a garage in a couple of years and I'd love to see what others have done, but I never see a thing here.

Any big boys out there?

I have a 2-1/2 car garage under the house, (part of the walk out basement) and a 30x30 garage that is detached from the house. I don't know if that qualifies for "big". I am in the process of fixing them both up. (painting, epoxy floors, shelving, etc.) When I get them looking acceptable I will post some pics. My truck and the vette live in the basement garage. It stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. My bikes and the tractor etc. reside in the detached.

I have a 4 car attached garage. It is 40' long by 27 feet wide. The garage door is 8' by 18' insulated, thermapane windows, walls and ceiling insulated, hot and cold running water, sink, drain in the center of the garage, and a furnace. I have made a work bench for wood, and I have a work bench for metal. It is my little universe.

Wish I did have a bigger garage. Currently have a three car one (about 24x33) and could use a fourth at times. My wife keeps telling me that I'd be happy to have a garage with an attached house.

Here is how mine started:

After an extension (accomplished by entending the area in front of the thrid car slot), this is what I ended up with:

As a note - during reconstruction I elected to AC and heat (central) all areas. This makes the garage a really pleasant location to do work on the Vettes, or DIY home projects

My buddy has a garage that is 65" long, 42" wide and 25' tall - he can fit his 40' Motorhome inside along with a bunch of other stuff....

You can see it in the background here....

Here's a couple more random shots...the last one is of the attached three car...

I'm out of space with my tiny 2 car garage.

Anyone want to donate a 4 car, 2 story garage to me?
