Newbie introduction












I used to live in Lorain CO........ I actually graduated from Elyria HS. Lived in Ohio till the army took me away........ I was just as CP about a month ago!!!!
TY, YES IT IS!!!! already learning a lot! The brakes quit.... well today, and the check engine light went out yesterday and drove it around all day today and it never came back on. Oh, and found the competition driving mode.........lol Told you I was a Newbie.

(tip, if he doesn't know where it is, get a better dealer fast). He should have told you. As I recall Z06's don't come with runflats, but you should have a tire repair kit with the car for emergency road use if all else fails. I don't think some? or all came with the tire sensor option either...so if you can't find it you don't have it. Check your owners manual and you will find a lot of information and watch the tape if one came with it.Nice car, enjoy it.

Welcome to the forum. That is a great looking car. Just for the future, with the C5 you do not need a scan tool to retrieve your codes. Have a look here:

As you'll see you can do it all onboard using the buttons on the DIC (Drivers Information Center).
As to the Blackwing, it is one of the best bang for the buck intakes available and it offers arguably the safest, best filtration on the market with very little fear of water injestion leading to hydrolock. The better performers are going to sit lower and risk injesting water. I had a Blackwing on my C5 for 4 years and was very, very impressed. Here's to miles of smiles.

• P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1 (H) (the lean thing I have going on, just went away again this morning)
• P0174 Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 2 (H) (the lean thing I have going on, just went away again this morning)
99-HVAC - Heater, Ventilation, Air Conditioning
• B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND (HC) (OK, where the heck is this and how can I check it????)
A1-RDCM - Right Door Control Module
• B2203 Right Window Up Switch Fault (H) (guess sometime they had to replace it, no issues now)
