Once again, ty for all the warm welcomings! It is a great forum! And helped me out a lot yesterday at the dealership. Some of you may have noticed my CEL issue (both banks running lean). Well, after the second Chevy dealer I went to yesterday (Ed Bozart in Denver) The service manager was a great guy and VERY knowledgable, all he did was clean my MAF with break cleaner........ and WOW, problem went away! (it was crudded up). I did use this site to show him that the C5 Z's did NOT have a screen, he was thinking at first that maybe a previous owner removed it. Also fixed my door temp actuator codes. The first dealership was going to be about $1,800 (daniel's chey in colorado springs) for a new MAF, all new stock box setup, complete brake job (had what appeared to be brake dust all over the car, but was nothing more then Tire Gel, with road grim on it) and fixing the HVAC coeds. So all issues fixed, he recomended I Keep the blackwing, just ensure after I clean it, drive the car about 100miles, take the MAF out and clean it with brake cleaner. Gotta love it when you can come across honest and decent people!!!

First good for you with being involved in the army

Second the blackwing is a great CAI and borla makes a very good exhaust are very good products, so youre on track for a good setup.

Third dont worry about the squeaky brakes. I have around 42K miles and am hard on my brakes and havent had to replace them yet.

Sounds like a nice car!

Any questions usually get answered pretty quickly and accuratly around here. Lots of knowledgable car enthusiests.

Good luck with the vette
