sorry to hear that bro, any way you can either get a used truck for work, or anything like that? Id hate to see anyone loose tehir corvette, especially if they love her as much as thoes of us on the forum do. Hope it works out for you, and if you have to sell her, I hope you get back behind the wheel of another soon
I know this will sound strange, but, props to you my friend. It takes a big man to give up his vette and do the right thing about the family finances. It's that sort of tough decision now that will make your next vette the best ever. Guilt free vette experiences...nothing better! Don't give up the forum!

Things change, got to do what you got to do. Just remember all the good times you had with your vette. Sounds like you have a good head on those shoulders so you may have another vette in the future if you want one. Keep making good decisions and i'm sure you will. Good luck

You say you need the truck for work - do you have to have a new truck? Maybe you could get by with an older truck.
Bottom line is owning a Vette is a great experience. It's most every little boy's dream. It was mine. I had to wait 45 years (I got it when I was 49) until life and all of it's speedbumps were behind me. At least you got to "taste" it for a while. You'll be back in a Vette before you know it. As much as I love my car - and I'm sure that you love yours - it is not the single most important thing in your life. Responsibilities come first.
