cd changer not working

This may not be the problem, but I bought a C5 and the changer worked, but when I put my CDs in I got the "ERR" message. Thought I was going to have to replace the changer.
But then I read a thread about putting the CDs in the proper way. They actually go in in a way that you'd think they were upsidedown. Try flipping the discs over. If you look very close at the disc trays, they are labeled with which way the burned side of the CD should face. I flipped mine over and all is well now!

I want o use my IPOD but the problem is that it uses the cd inputs which are now not working on the HU. So I have to replace the HU before I can get the adapter.

Ok I found this guy on ebay, I am sending my head unit out today. Ill post back once I get it installed in the car and check it out.
I am also getting an ipod adapter from him. Figured since the radio was out why not.
If anyone wants the docs on how to remove the radio let me know I can scan them in.
