You have to remember that not all Corvette owners are enthusiasts. Some just buy a Corvette on a whim and have no clue about the history or tradition of their vehicle. They never go on this website and drive along in oblivion. Traffic also plays a part in the wave. If I am in heavy bumper to bumper traffic here in the Tampa area, I am much less likely to wave than when I am driving on a 2 lane road with light traffic.
Bingo ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, It's about heritige, passion, & tradition. It's a C1-C6 thing no need to analize - JUST DO IT.
Where I live in arizona,OUTSIDE of scottsdale, C6 drivers um think C5 drivers are wierd i guess, they don't wave back a lot
C5 drivers wave almost every time
C4 drivers I think don't care.
C3 drivers always wave first like we are their big buddies
I wave a lot.
but it's fun just being inside the vette even going 2 the market for a newspaper and a quart of milk
it's still a special ride
just a note... in scottsdale, (snotsdale) everybody seems to give that "your not as special as me " feeling and they all seem to be in a hurry to cut you off before the next light (humph) like i even noticed you were trying to race me (pulls the ear plugs out)

I have noticed that here in PA too---and it is not just some vet owners. I can see being proud that you can afford something much better than my car. You probably worked very hard for it---just like I did for mine but that is no reason to be rude---but not just that--it's people with new everyday cars--usually the "younger" generation. I had this new VW Bug---all dressed out---come up on me on the highway the other day. I actually watched him weave in and out of traffic to catch up. I was just keeping up with traffic---not running it or anything---and he finally blows by me and I can see the smile on his face as he passes me. It was comical.. Do these kids actually think that they have just "blown away" a vet?? I can hear the stories to his friends now..He "toasted" a vet.... that was only doing 65...
You call them HOMOS!!!!!! I can't stand their little rice lovin' a$$!!!!!! You really need a Corsa exhaust. For me, 9 times out of 10, the "race" dies before it ever gets started.
Once they hear the roar of a real engine and not a rice pot spewing farts out of his coffee can exhaust, the result is usually the same.......they turn their head and look straight ahead without making a single movement. I know what your talking about Mom and I hate them too. I think we all do.
