door lock and window express problem
I have a 2001 and it has just started having problems with the window expess. It will roll the windows up and down but when you press the 'auto' button it does not go all the way down.
Also the door locks are acting up - when you press lock on the fob the door sound like they lock but they don't - you can lock them from inside with the door lock switch on the door.
Any info on what to do to fix this would be most appreciated.

It sounds like two separate problems to me. The door lock module was replaced on my car after a similar snag. The lock on the door was fine but the fob function failed. The windows are operated by a different module I believe.
There is one solution thats come up before. The rubber gaiter where the wire looms enter the door has a connection in there somewhere. A bit of "judicious jiggling" has made the modules behave. Maybe someone who has done that "fix" can chime in.
