Car won't start
I've had this problem for the last few months. I put the key in the ignition and everything works except the engine does nothing. I never know when this will happen. I could go for weeks or it could do it three times in the same week. I have found that if I wiggle the key sometimes it will start. It always finally starts. I think there is some delay timer that prevents it from starting if someone tries to start it with the wrong key. Anybody had this problem. Think it could be the ignition switch, key or both?

Any codes stored in the DIC? Try using your spare key. Your security pellet may be dirty. Or you may have a number of other things causing this such as a bad ground, loose cables, bad ignition cylinder or even a bad battery. It is hard to diagnois when it is intermittent.

need more info - it could be the interlock switch if you've got an auto, or a clutch switch on a 6 spd, or a number of other things. Check for codes then post what you find, along with more details on your car.
