Hey.. Question for yall. My passenger front marker light is burned out (thus causing my LED taillights to blink super fast) and I need to replace it. I purchase the bulbs (pretty cheap) but I cannot figure out HOW to get to the original light to replace it. The owners manual says to "remove the bolts from the front fascia close-out".... But there are no pictures or diagrams. How many bolts and where exactly is the close-out? From my understanding the car has to be on a lift to access this?
One shop refused to do the work for me saying Corvettes are too hard to lift (However they did a brake job and replaced my rotors without any fuss a few months ago.. hmm) and the GM stealership wants $88 for the job (1 hour minimum work, though should only take a few minutes according to them). Any suggestions?
Coooool. Replaced the bulb with the info from jdmvette. Headlight bezel solution just took a couple of minutes and its all good, to a point. HOWEVER, it didn't fix my new LED taillight rapid-blinking problem. <sigh> The left turn signal blinks at a normal rate and the right turn signal blinks about twice as fast. I did notice the top row of leds on one of the taillights is much dimmer than the others. Maybe it is just a defective taillamp.
