We'll see tomorrow if she's repairable or not.

17 stitches in the forehead. Weirdest sound of the day, metal scraping against me skull....

Anytime you can "walk away" right?

Yes--anytime you can walk away..The car is either repairable or replaceable---YOU are not. Sorry to hear about the car but at least you are ok..

Ouch!

Glad you're still with us...you know the old saying. Cars can be replaced.

Edit - And I have to admit, when I first read your message, I thought you were driving naked!

Sorry to hear Mark. 17 stitches in the forehead is not good, but glad your injuries weren't worse. Hope you recover quickly and best of luck to you from here on!

Thanks again everyone, really appreciate it!

It has seemd like I've had issues with this ride since the day I flew up to get her.

We'll get a better look today to see what the exact damage is then go from there....hell, I can always get a new Z06 right

I am glad you are okay. Hope you heal up soon and fully recover.

Sorry to hear about the car. I hope it can be repaired. If not, I hope there is another vette in your future.

I agree with you on having the TC/AH on. I usually run my car in competitive mode when dry and in regular mode when wet. I also don't typically try to use more than 75% of my car's capabilities when driving on the street so I have a good margin of safety. Saved my butt on more than one occasion. You never really know what you are going to run into on the street. Happened to be gravel in your case. I just missed some construction debris in my lane the other day.

Hey Stranger.

Glad to see you are alive.

Vettes can always be fixed or replaced, but a life can not.

I hear ya! Although it is kinda neat to fully understand what it means to, "de-glove"

Hell I've always wanted a chrome-bumper Shark too, and I've got a line on a '60 that is in prisitine shape, and can be had for a steal, I just need to make sure it's a good steal
