Default A Cautionary Tale...

Please, unless you're on the track, keep TC/AC engaged.

And if you are going "naked" then by all means, please make sure your airbag is engaged.

And above all else, if you disregard the above, at least buckle up!

Seems that "god" doesn't want me to own a green vette, "Mean Green Redeux" is no longer.....

Did you run out of talent? Or get hit by someone? I hate TC, I wish my car didn't have it! Anyway, that does suck. Hope your o.k.

Thanks guys....I wasn't around a lot last time this happened and had just now begun to get back into the swing of things, I guess it's a little easier the 2nd time around...

Entrance to on-ramp, hit shot of gravel, lost the back end and could not recover....scraped the rear, then SMACKED the front-end.

We'll see tomorrow if she's repairable or not.

17 stitches in the forehead. Weirdest sound of the day, metal scraping against me skull....

Anytime you can "walk away" right?

I am so glad that you are OK man. You are really lucky! I still remember the last one. You need to rest. It was finally running like you wanted it to after sometime but its Ok. It will be replaced soon with another LPE TT. Dont worry. Just relax for now and take some rest.

Glad you were able to walk away from the accident. Sorry about your car, but it can be replaced if needed. Hope the damage report is not a total loss.

Holy smokes Mark, although you did not walk away untouched.... you did walk away. I can't believe you killed another one, heck with you taking out all the GREEN Vettes, their value will be sure to rise. Hope it all works out in the end Mark, heal up without any issues.

I keep T/C on, seat belts on, and air bag enabled in all my cars on the street. There is just too many things you have no control over out there.

I just finished replacing a rear wheel, from the last time I disabled T/C.

Take it easy, and post some pics of the carnage of the car and guard rail (You know we want to see it).

Very sorry to hear about the car, I had noticed you posting a bit more again. At least you are still around to post about it. Cars can be replaced as you know. Take it easy and good luck with the findings.

Thank God you're all right, Mark. Too bad about the vette but that part's replaceable - maybe time for a C6.

Take your time - you're still young.
