You don't really need to remove the driver's side udders as you should be able to reach underneath and use your fingers to remove any debris. The only way I can describe it is pretty x-rated so make sure you send your C5 some flowers the next day.
As to the passenger side, I just installed a new battery, so while it was out, I decided to remove the longer passenger side udder and clean it out. After removing it, I was surprised that after close to 20 years of ownership, there was nothing, nada inside. Here's a pic of my 20 year old udder removed for a visual.
The thing is that each time I tried to reach the third udder, the windshield wiper tank sensor cable gets in the way, and my arm disconnects the cable, leaking windshield wiper fluid to the floor. So the only way to access the third udder is by removing the 2 udders that are in the front, and even then it's a pain to access the third udder without disconnecting the windshield wiper fluid cable...
How do you manage to clean the third udder without dealing with the windshield wiper fluid cable being in the way?
There's also a small one on the firewall for the A/C evaporator drain, like other owners I cut the ends of the udders off because they were dried up, hard and didn't flex much anymore so water would flood the wiper motor. The evaporator elbow udder just pulled off and it's left off.

And how do I reach that one?
Anyways, thank you so much everyone for helping me out on cleaning the udders of my 98 corvette. I'm on my way to replace the battery of my corvette, from a lead acid to an agm battery. I will try to clean the passenger side udder, while they change my battery.
