OK Guys, Don't laugh! Probably is a stupid question, but here goes....
I have a 98 Convertible and just got it back from the detailer. SOmehow the rear window has separated from the soft top. Hanging by the elastic bands. How do I get it back flush to the top?
Well....I was gonna take it in this afternoon to have a few mods done. Guess I'll just send the detailer the bill. Whaddya think...I'm lowering it, and addin' new wheels and tires. I'm thinking of beefin' it up...mebbe 305's in the rear....?

That could be an expensive fix. Some guys have used various types of adhesives but some work and some don't. I'd give the detailer the problem.

First, go back to the detailer and discuss the issue. Then I'd get an estimate and then present it to the detailer. If they damaged the top, they should be willing to repair it. If not, small claims court. Meanwhile, the place you get the estimate from should be able to tell you how to temporarily fix it.
No pic yet, but workin' on it. Haven't figured out yet how to post 'em......It's a blonde thing.
shoot me a email with some and ill postem em up for you on your own website , that way you can copy the 'photo link' and paste it just like this line of text - and it will auto-show the pic that you choose
From what i here this is common for the back window to fall out of the cloth top on a vert it is caused by heat (very hot weather) I have never had this problem with mine but it is a 02 and we dont have to many 100 degree days in the summer here.
I would take it back to the dealer and see what they have to say about it and if they wont fix it maybe they will know of a place that can repair it for you form what i have read it is a easy fix.
I had a similar problem with a Lebaron Convertible (Vinyl top). I asked around and was told, that the top needs to be replaced. I went to the local auto store and got this stuff called Automotive Goop Contact Adhesive and Sealant). The stuff is thick, like clear silicone caulking; it stays flexible in the cold and holds like all hell. It lasted about 2 years in the Lebaron, it probably would have lasted even longer but I replaced the top because I got tired of replacing the duct tape on the roof tears. If you use it have some acetone or goof off around as the stuff can get messy.
