I think it could look really cool, but the outside of your car needs to support such a bold interior. As a minimum, IMHO, you'll need new rims and your car will need to be slammed. A stock C5 on the outside doesn't work with a one of a kind custom interior.
Have you tried or asked someone else to try and photochop the orange into nassau blue?
To much of any one color or crazy patterns really distract the eye and ruin and y kind of styling scheme.
The Nassau Blue is a bright bold color and needs be tamed down a bit with some darker color like black. You could do black borders with the checker board inserts and some carbon fiber console and other peices made by Vette essentials or some other vendors. Just my opinion.
OK,all of you have made good points and changed my mind. I am just going with the black outside and nassau blue inserts seats, I still have the black and nassau blue trim pieces for the shifter, door handles, grab handle and brake boot in my garage. They will look good with the black and blue seats. I'll post pics when it's done. Ordering the seats today. Thanks for the honest opinions. I will still probably keep the checkered console cover with nassau blue trim. I do like it as just a touch of something different.

For a show car, I think it adds the finishing touch. But for an everyday car, I don't think I could get use to that each time I got in the car. Perhaps with Nassau Blue it will tone it down a bit and it may look better. If you do get it, please show us what the finished product looks like.
Extremely nice!!!! I like that alot~Blue Is my favorite color. They make the checkered engine covers too so I would add that Into your combo. I don't know where you can get It. I just saw It on this Forum a couple of days ago & It looked amazing. Best of luck~That will look awesome!
I also agree with the others about your origanal plan being a bit too much. I like It alot with the Blue, but I personally wouldn't do It to my Vette. Now your second plan with the Black & Blue I think would be a better choice. It's all up to you as It's your money. PM me some pics when the job Is complete
I feel one of the biggest keys to making an aftermarket mod looking good. Is to make it look like it could have come from the factory. Wripples and Wrinkles in the material, is a clear give away that these were a 'cheap' addition.
Not even based on the fact that the checkered flags look really bad. Simply on the fact that I've never seen a checkered flag stitching that didn't look wrinkled, I would highly recommend staying away from this design.
HY iridelow,
Here is a thought for you,
I have a Nassau Blue vert & I was thinking about changing my interior also. I think it would look great with white & blue interior like the mid year vettes. Now that is SWEET.......
